Here are some quick facts about me:
- I am born and raised in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland, for those not familiar with icelandic geography it is a small town just outside the capital: Reykjavík.
- I have lived in four different countries: Iceland, Norway, England and Australia
- I currently am living in Australia and have been for the last four years and a bit.
- I speak three languages: Icelandic (yes we do have our own language, crazy right?), Norwegian and English
- I am a mad Liverpool FC supporter
- I love European Handball
- I am excited about all things related to the management side of sports
- I have a sport management degree from Griffith University
- I have previously researched the sport talent transfer process from the perspective of athletes and their coaches
- I am currently working on a research project on the athletes support network
- And one fact that you probably didn´t need to know: I am an obsessed black liquorice fanatic (it has to be icelandic though!)
