About me

Here are some quick facts about me:

  • I am born and raised in Hafnarfjörður, Iceland, for those not familiar with icelandic geography it is a small town just outside the capital: Reykjavík.
  • I have lived in four different countries: Iceland, Norway, England and Australia
  • I currently am living in Australia and have been for the last four years and a bit.
  • I speak three languages: Icelandic (yes we do have our own language, crazy right?), Norwegian and English
  • I am a mad Liverpool FC supporter
  • I love European Handball
  • I am excited about all things related to the management side of sports
  • I have a sport management degree from Griffith University
  • I have previously researched the sport talent transfer process from the perspective of athletes and their coaches
  • I am currently working on a research project on the athletes support network
  • And one fact that you probably didn´t need to know: I am an obsessed black liquorice fanatic (it has to be icelandic though!)
